Louise E. Pynn's Obituary
Louise E. Pynn, born Louise E. Miller, on October 12, 1921 in Adams, WI to Jerome and Leona Miller, passed away peacefully at her home in Tulsa, OK on October 25, 2012. She met and soon married Gordon E. Pynn on January 27, 1938, in Milwaukee, WI. Louise and Gordon moved from Elgin, IL to Sioux City, IA where she worked as a realtor for many years. Louise loved cooking, which everyone enjoyed, golf, ceramics,playing bridge, and was an avid fisherwoman as well as.. They enjoyed traveling and were fortunate to take some cruises. Louise and Gordon raised several dogs and were active in the Sioux City Kennel Club. Their Vizsla appeared in the Westminster Dog Show in New York and won over 50 best titles during his years of shows. After retiring, they moved from Sioux City, IA to Woodburn, OR, then to Hot Springs Village, AR. From there they moved to Broken Arrow/Tulsa, OK, where they spent their remaining years. Louise is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Gordon; brothers, Stanley and Norbert Miller, and great grandson, Jeffery Hayden. She is survived by her children, Norman Hayden and husband, Cliffof Woodburn, OR; Barbara Hartley and husband, Brentof Norman, OK, Gordon E. Pynn and wife, Kathy of Sioux City, IA and David J. Pynn and wife, Janet of Tulsa, OK. Louise and Gordon have twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Memorial Services will be held October 29, 2012 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM.
