Lova Mullins' Obituary
Lova Gertrude Mullins was born Dec 2nd, 1946, in Chicago, IL. To Tullie Richard Verble and Lydia Maud Higgins (Verble)
Lova was born with a severe Arthritis which made things in life a bit challenging. Due to this, around the age of 10, she was unable to walk for some time, so she was welcomed by The Shriners for them to assist in getting her to walk, which took a year of traction, multiple therapies and surgeries. The Shriners have been such a blessing to our family for their love and help. As a child or as an adult, Lova never complained about pain or problems, she was always found to be very positive, upbeat and a strong, amazing lady.
In 1966, Lova met the love of her life in Robert Mullins. The two married that same year, and much to their surprise, in 1967, they were blessed with their 1st child. Then another blessing in 1972 and their next blessing, in 1977.
In the late 70’s the family moved to Tulsa, where Lova became a store manager at Circle K. Prior to this, she worked as a Real Estate Agent in Chicago.
Lova was known to never meet a stranger. She was the kind of lady that once you met her, you could be sure you wouldn’t forget her! She had such a kind soul that would listen or help in any way she could. Lova was a very passionate family woman and loved her friends dearly! She enjoyed making jewelry, dancing, playing games with the family. She enjoyed her time as Sr Regent at the Tulsa Moose lodge. Christmas always lit her up! Her house became a Village!! Lova knows her God and that his love would never fail her. She is rejoicing with him and smiling down, being our newest Angel in Heaven.
Lova was preceded in death by both parents and multiple cousins.
