Loy Dean Bunch's Obituary
Loy Dean Bunch, a resident of Broken Arrow, passed away July 17, 2020 at the age of 87. He was born February 3, 1933 to Clay and Gladys (McCollough) Bunch in Springdale, Arkansas. Loy worked at Sun Oil for 40 years. He started off in the mail room and then ended up retiring as a computer systems analyst programmer. He served in the Broken Arrow Roundup Club as President, Vice President and Treasurer over the years. Loy enjoyed horses and Rv camping with his family. He was an auctioneer and enjoyed square dancing with his wife, Orpha for many years. But most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren and he loved his beloved dog, Abie. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Gladys Bunch; brother, Ewel Bunch.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years this August, Orpha Bunch; two daughters, Debbie Pianalto and husband, David; Beverly Johnston and husband, Jimmy; four grandchildren, Kerri Stewart and husband, Gene, Michael Pianalto and fiance, Haley May, Adam Johnston and wife, Lauren and Bradley Johnston and wife, Amie; five great grandchildren, Mickinzy, MaryKate, Bryson, Charlotte and Lynlee; two sisters, Pauline Langford and husband, Tom, Fern Kerr and husband, Arthur; one brother, Donald Bunch and wife, Janice; sister-in-law, Bethel Bunch; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
