Loyce “Bobbie” Nadine Gird was born May 13, 1917 in Hannibal, Missouri and passed away December 19, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bobbie is survived by her son Roger Allen Gird and his wife Karen; son Robert Martin Gird; grandchildren Ryan Gird and his wife Jessica, Robyn Chapman and her husband Scott, Stacie Maloney and her husband Dave, Shane Sommers and his wife Heather and Troy Sommers and his wife Theresa; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; niece Charlotte Clark and her husband Earl and grand-nieces, Teri Shatto and her husband Charles and Sammie Lemon and husband, Jim. Bobbie is preceded in passing by parents Walter and Lillian (Schmidt) Bode; husband Robert Edmond Gird; infant brother and great-grandson Taylor Chapman. Bobbie will deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Joy Lutheran Church in Tulsa. Visitation will be Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Monday, December 22, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
