Luanne Arnold's Obituary
Luanne Arnold, born on December 26, 1949, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. A life filled with devotion, joy, and compassion, Luanne touched the hearts of everyone she met.
She married the love of her life, Wayne Arnold, on June 12, 1999, at Christ United Methodist Church, where their union became a symbol of enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a life centered around family and shared passions.
Luanne is survived by her beloved children: daughter Michelle Carabello and husband John; sons Allen McCarthy and Jason McCarthy; daughter Eva Jones and husband Jack. She also leaves behind her cherished brothers Fred Weiss and Steve Smith, as well as an extensive legacy of love in her 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy, and she adored each and every one of her grandchildren with her whole heart.
A spirited and vibrant soul, Luanne embraced life with a contagious enthusiasm. She loved fishing and camping, always finding peace in nature's beauty. Her penchant for smiley faces reflected her sunny disposition and her ability to find joy in the simplest things. Luanne also had a special talent for dancing, especially while expressing herself through sign language—a skill she mastered with grace and dedication.
Her creativity knew no bounds as she dabbled in playing musical instruments, perfected the art of cake decorating, and baked treats that delighted everyone around her. She had an eye for capturing memories through photography and cherished the companionship of her beloved dog, Rosie.
Luanne's heart overflowed with compassion for the less fortunate, dedicating her time and energy to helping the homeless. Above all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who selflessly poured her love into her family, making their lives brighter with her presence.
Luanne's legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched. Her memory will be honored and celebrated by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May she rest in peace, reunited with those who went before her, and may her spirit continue to inspire us all.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Al-Anon or John 3:16 mission in Luanne's name.
