Lucille Elizabeth Niemeier Ellsworth's Obituary
Lucille Elizabeth Niemeier Ellsworth, 78 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, left this life May 9, 2005 surrounded by her loving family. Lucille was born March 8, 1927 in Posey County, Indiana, to John and Margaret (Deig) Niemeier.She spent her life raising and loving her family. She was a faithful wife, mother and grandmother; being very involved in her grandchildren’s lives and their friends lives. Lucille spent countless hours attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, recitals and graduations and was known to all as “Gran”.She loved to play cards, Uno, Klabber and loved to bowl. She was instrumental in the building of the sanctuary of the Grove Methodist Church and was very active in the church. Lucille and her husband attended the First United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow and were members of the Tulsa Country Club, the Petroleum Club and the Propeller Club.She will be greatly missed by her family and countless friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to the Grove United Methodist Church, PO Box 450-387, Grove, OK 74345, Attn: Church Choir. Funeral service was held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 12, 2005, First United Methodist Church, Broken Arrow, OK, with burial at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, Broken Arrow, OK.Survived By: her husband of almost 60 years, Levoy Ellsworth, Sr.; daughter, Linda Clouse and her husband Vic of Grove, OK; son, Levoy Ellsworth, Jr. of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren, Sarah Ellsworth, Matthew Clouse and his wife Anne, Rachel Ellsworth, all of Norman, OK, Melonie Clouse of Tulsa, OK, Scott Ellsworth of Scottsdale, AZ, Molly Ellsworth of Tulsa, OK; brother, Donald Niemeier and his wife Hildred of Mt. Vernon, IN; sister, Mildred Marx of West Palm Beach, Florida; niece, Dottie Faye Schauss and her husband Oscar of Evansville, IN and Ft. Myers, FL and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
