Lucy Mable Gideon's Obituary
Lucy Mable Gideon, 84, passed away on June 2, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lucy was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on February 28, 1926 to Ed and Stella (Avant) Harris. She married Thomas Lester Gideon on March 6, 1943 in Hot Springs. They shared many memorable years together until his passing on February 14, 1997. She has been a very active member of First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow since moving from Houston in 1969. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester; parents; brothers, Billy Harris, Pat Harris, Donnie Harris and sister, Bertha Suta. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 1-9 PM with family receiving visitors from 4-6 PM at Floral Haven. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, June 7, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow with interment in Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
