Lucylle Marie Olsen's Obituary
Lucylle Marie Olsen of Broken Arrow, Ok. Went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 1, 2007. Lucylle was born in Chicago, Illinois to Clarence and Minnie Olsen and was preceded in death by her two sisters Eleanor Olsen and Delores Nesler. She moved to Los Angeles and Hemet,California in the mid sixties where she met her late husband AJ Nancarrow. Lucylle balanced her many volunteer and civic duties around her career as an accountant. She was active in the United Way in Hemet as well as the Hospice program, Pacers and Philbrook here in Tulsa where she has lived since 1991. She was very generous with her time and continued to help her community for many years. Of her numerous accomplishments in life, Lucylle was a member of the Water Pageant Team in Chicago, Illinois, she completed model finishing school there as well and received an Associates of Science degree while in California. Lucylle was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother. She was a loving and nurturing grandmother with a generous heart and was always there for her family and friends. “She was the epitome of a loving nana. You couldn’t go to visit her without being fed and pampered and loading you up on anything she thought you might need.” The light of her life was her five-year-old grandson whom she adored. “He really keeps me on my toes” she would say. Memorial visitation was held at Floral Haven in Broken Arrow on Monday, March 5th between the hours of 10:00 and 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers you can make donations to the American Cancer Society.Survived By: daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Ed Hutchings of Broken Arrow, Ok; her two grand-daughtdaughter Lynda McChesney, of Pinedale, Wyoming, her children, Stephanie, Michael and Cory Gwin, and Laurie Ryder Goodman and her children Gary and Candyce Ryder; great, great, grandson, Christopher Haase, son of Stephanie and Chris Haase all of Broken Arrow, Ok
