Lynn Davis' Obituary
Davis, Lynn L. Born in Brown County, Kansas on September 5, 1928, passed away on October 21, 2019 at home with loved ones surrounding him. The son of Paris and Hazel Davis, was raised in Horton, Kansas, relocating to Tulsa, Oklahoma when he was a child. Lynn was always a hardworking, family loving man. He married his one and only love, Dolores M. Garten on June 18,1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.He never met a stranger or a job he could not complete. He was a retired supervisor for American Airlines, avid hunter and fisherman. He loved to take RV trips with his wife. He enjoyed taking fishing trips with family and friends. He was always ready for an adventure. He served his country in the Army as a Sergeant during the Korean War receiving commendations for battles at Sniper Ridge and Hill 854. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #71 in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 1960.Lynn is survived by his son Marc Davis and wife, Allison Davis of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Granddaughter Ashley Ward and husband, Aaron Ward and great-grandsons Tanden and Laiken of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Nephew, Mike Davis of Dallas, Texas, John Polnow of Rockford, Illinois, Jim Polnow of Marengo, Illionis ; Niece, Pam Perez of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Debra Pace of Union, IllinoisHis wife, both parents, sister Marjorie Polnow, brother Paul Davis and grandson Brad Jewel proceeded him in death.Viewing will be held from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Lacey officiating.
