M. Ann Stephens McKinney, beloved momma, grandma, great-grandma, sister & friend. Born September 29, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Thomas & Faye Stephens. She passed Thursday, March 30, 2017 at home. When you look up the word unconditional love in a dictionary you will find Ann’s picture. She loved her son and loved her grandson unconditionally from the first time she seen them. Her grandson was her pride and joy. Three years ago she gained a daughter and granddaughter and grandson and a great-grandson and great granddaughter who also stole her heart. An loved her family and friends and will be greatly missed. An graduated from Daniel Webster High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ann married the love of her life Tommy McKinney June 15, 1990 and that love was strong but he was taken from her September 21, 1995. She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas & Faye Stephens spouse Tommy McKinney. She is survived by son Bob & wife Regina Compton, grandson Dalton Compton, granddaughter Katie & husband Josh Peek, great grandson Caleb Peek, great granddaughter Madison Peek; brothers Bill Stephens, Roger& wife Kathy Stephens, Doug Stephens, Terry Stephens and her aunt, Polly. Ann had said when she lost her mom she felt like she was adopted by Regina’s family and she loved each of them. Lannie & Linda Philpott, Johnny & Retina Weins. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends that were very special to her. Viewing will be Tuesday, March 4, 2017 at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 5, 2017 at 3:00PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home in the Chapel. Please dress casual jeans, shorts, or however you dress each day.
