Truly, Mamie’s passion and love was God, her family, and church. Mamie was a member of Christ Gospel Church, Tulsa for over 55 years. She was loved, cherished and adored by all. Mamie’s cooking was known by everyone around her. She cooked from her soul and nurtured everyone through her infamous trademark dishes. She loved being a part of every church luncheon and dinner. Her heart was in the kitchen whether it was at church or in her home.
Mamie lived life to the fullest in her 96-years of life. She loved, treasured and valued family and passed along those virtues through her Sunday lunches after church, holiday get togethers, and the simple everyday moments whether it was a simple phone call to check in or have you stop by the house for a bite to eat. Her life was loving people, being a servant and making sure there was always something to eat.
The Family would like to express their thanks to everyone for their love, prayers, and support during this time. The Family also wants to express gratitude to Rose Rock Healthcare Hospice.
