Manning Henry's Obituary
Henry (Hank) Ruben Manning, 78, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2009. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY on January 5, 1931. He retired in 1990 from American Airlines after 34 years of dedicated employment as an airline mechanic. Army Corporal Henry Manning was also a decorated Korean War Veteran, earning the Korean Service Medal with a Bronze Star, the United Nations Service Medal and the National Defense Service Medal. He was honorably discharged in 1954. Hank married Marie Dunlap (deceased) in 1955 and had three daughters. He married Barbara Clay in 1974. Preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Manning and Ellen Alice Brown, brother Robert (Bob) Manning, sisters Dorothy Manning and Gladys Fittante. Hank is survived by his wife Barbara of Tulsa, brother Francis (Bud) Manning of Jacksonville, Florida; Daughters :Linda McCaslin of Lancaster, California; Alice Manning Little of Virginia Beach, Va; and Susan Shelton of Coweta, OK; He is also survived by his stepsons Carl(David) Clay of Owasso, OK; and Darel Clay of Claremore, OK; Step-daughter Lori Judd of Broken Arrow, OK; Four sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law; thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Hank was a member of the Boston Avenue United Methodist Church. Services were held at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, OK, at 10:00 am Tuesday, November 17, 2009. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.Survived By:
