Dr. Manuel Soria's Obituary
Soria, Dr. Manuel E. went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2009 at his home in Tulsa. Dr. Soria was born on April 16, 1930 in the Philippines. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at San Beda College and his Doctor of Medicine degree at Santo Tomas University both in Manila. He came to the United States in 1958 and completed his Psychiatric residency in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He practiced pshychiatry in Rhode Island for 22 years before coming to the City of Faith Hospital in 1985. He continued in practice in Tulsa until 1998 when he retired. Dr. Soria was an accomplished violinist having played in numerous symphonies and ensembles. He especially enjoyed ministering with his violin for churches and Christian organizations. He was a member of Rhema Bible Church. His Funeral Services were held at Rhema Bible Church on April 22, 2009. He is entombed at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.Survived By: He is survived by his wife, Eileen of almost 47 years; daughter Dr. Kathy Boyls; son Eric Soria, son-in-law, Steve Boyls and grandchildren Stephanie and Stacie Boyls.
