She was excessively brave and kind in her painful decades with her terribly damaged and frozen knee and leg. She had spasms and waves of sharp stabbing paroxysms of pain and would grimace and go on with little complaint. She would ask how you were doing. A wonderful testament to her strength and concern for others in the midst of her suffering.
