Marcia Blackketter Lynch's Obituary
Marcia Blackketter Lynch was born November 11, 1952, to Colonel J Wendell and Ila Nelene (Fletcher) Blackketter. Marcia passed away peacefully at her tiny home on May 28, 2025. Marcia was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lehman Blackketter. Marcia graduated from Oklahoma State University with a dual bachelor's degree in Microbiology and Medical Technology. Marcia was a lifelong learner and went back to school at Tulsa Community College and received Associate Degrees in Computer Science and American Sign Language.
Marcia was active in leadership in Scouting for many years. There she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her kids and her scouting kids, exploring new things and sharing her vast knowledge.
Marcia served joyfully in a variety of roles for Celebrate Recovery. She believed strongly that by sharing your redemption story you were highly impacting the Kingdom of God.
Marcia was well known for being the hands and feet of Jesus whether that be by feeding people, driving around kids, grandkids (and their friends), teaching people to drive, volunteering at school, serving at Good Samaritan Health Services, just to name a few.
Marcia is survived by: her sister, Ila Blackketter Wolfe and Husband, Darwin; sister-in-law Gayle Blackketter; Son, Robert Bridgewater and fiancée, Robyn; Daughter, Rachel Bardgett and Husband, Alan; eight grandchildren Clara Hodge and her husband, Brandon, Daphne Rosser, Audrey Blevins, Erin and Ruth Bridgewater, Aubrianna, Jace, and Rochelle Bardgett, one great granddaughter and a host of nieces and nephews.
At this time Marcia Blackketter Lynch is enjoying the blessedness of being with Jesus Christ in heaven as busy as she can be worshipping her Lord and Savior.
