Margaret "Margie" E. Willsey's Obituary
Margie Elmo Brooks Willsey was born on Friday, August 14, 1936 in Liberty Mounds, Oklahoma to Callie and Samuel Brooks. She grew up on a farm near Liberty Mounds, eventually graduating from high school there, and her favorite memory from childhood was riding her pet pony. Margie lived in Bixby and finally settled in Tulsa where she spent the rest of her years. She was a long term employee and eventually retired from Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa. In her spare time Margie liked to play tennis, enjoyed gardening, attended church at Regency Park Church of the Nazarene, and listened to music, especially Kathy Troccoli and old school country music. Margie also loved her dogs, owning many throughout her life. Margie was preceded in death by her brother Lafayette, her sister Leona, and her parents, and special friend Jimmy Young. She is survived by her son Lindell Webb and wife Tammy of Skiatook; daughter Teresa Stokes and husband Larry of Glencoe, daughter Rhonda Maslonka of Tulsa, and son Todd Webb and wife Monica of Jenks. She is also survived by grandchildren Cory and Shea. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 29th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and the funeral services will be Friday, December 30th at 12:30 pm both at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Reverend James Lacey will be officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate in her name to Oklahoma Westie Rescue (she adored Westies), New Covenant Bible Church or a charity of your choice.
