Margaret Louise Ferguson

Margaret Louise Ferguson, age 86, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025. Born on June 26, 1939, in Alva, Oklahoma, Margaret lived a life marked by kindness, laughter, and unwavering faith.
Margaret was known for her easygoing nature and her infectious love of laughter. She brought joy to those around her with her warm spirit and gentle humor. A woman of faith, she cherished attending church whenever she could, finding strength and community in her worship.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Denise L. Ferguson; John Ferguson and his wife Beth; and Dianne McCarty. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Anthony McCarty and his wife Kim, Jacob Ferguson, and Megan Ferguson; and her great-grandchildren, Elise McCarty and Hudson McCarty. She is also survived by her siblings, Janet Unruh and her husband Ron, and Jack Cunningham, along with a host of extended family and dear friends who will forever miss her presence.
Margaret is now reunited in eternal peace with her beloved husband, her son Donald W. Ferguson, and her grandson Shane McCarty.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
