Margaret "Peggy" Payne Lawson, 94 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born April 17, 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to her parents, Leigh Lyn Stephens and Oklahoma Payne Robinson Stephens. She married the love of her life, Russell Lawson in 1964 and they shared in over 37 years together before his passing in 2001.
Margaret was known by family and friends as "Peggy", "Nanny", and "Aunt Peggy".
Margaret is survived by one daughter, Theresa Bolinger and her husband Rick of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Troy Wilder and his wife Lori of Claremore, Oklahoma and Dawn Lynn Porter of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four great-grandchildren, Codi Newton, Trey Wilder, Dustin Wilder and Laney Porter; nieces and nephews, Jim Patchen, Lorna and Jimmy Williams, Linda and Harry Cheek, Debbie and John Oakley; great-nieces and nephews, Bryan Cheek, Jeremey Megill, Michelle Hobbs, Cheryl Price, Heather Williams; and many more extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leigh and Oklahoma Stephens; her husband Russell Lawson; son, Stephen Spicer; two sisters, Dee Dee McGanghey and Bobbie Stull; and nephew, Bill Patchen.
