I remember Margaret because she was from Belmont County,Ohio… My mother Ruth Brokaw and her mother were close friends in presbytery. The Caldwell's and the Greenlee's were good Presbyterians who practiced their faith! Yes Margaret was diminutive but mighty … And I knew her in St Clairsville as 'Susie'. Charlotte Brokaw Thomas
I just learned of Margaret's passing. When I worked at John Calvin I could always count on Margaret to stop by and chat. She was always so caring and fun to talk to. She would spend many hours volunteering. I know she will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
My husband Ron and I joined John Calvin Presbyterian Church in 1973. The first person to speak to us after services and continue to befriend us was Margaret. We had two little girls and she had three older girls. Janet was our daughter's babysitter. John and Margaret became close friends to Ron and I and we enjoyed their friendship. She was a kind and gentle person. She was small in stature but had a very big heart. My prayers are with her daughters and grandchildren. Kathryn Hermanstorfer
