Margaret Romer's Obituary
Margaret Lorraine (Thele) Romer (84) passed away peacefully on January 12ᵗʰ 2026, at home in Kennesaw, GA.
She was born on October 1ˢᵗ 1941 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Hermann & Margetta Thele. She married Robert Romer on Jan 24, 1964, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. They were happily married for 61 years. She spent her life as a domestic engineer, without which, her husband & three sons would never have survived. An amazing cook, a fantastic baker, the home she created was warm, comfortable & safe.
She is survived by her husband Robert, her sons James, married to Agnes, Robert, married to Jada, and Kevin married to Kimberly. She is also survived by her grandchildren Tamara, Brittany, Joshua, Rachel, Emily, Abigail, Katelynne, and Jacob. Margaret had one great-grandchild, Mavis.
Margaret's funeral will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Monday January 19ᵗʰ at 10am with Pastor John Conner as the officiant. Visitation will be held at 9am, just prior to the funeral. Grave side services to immediately follow the funeral. There will be a Celebration of Life Potluck on Sunday January the 18ᵗʰ at Christ Presbyterian Church from 2pm to 4pm located at 2706 E. 51ˢᵗ St. Tulsa, OK 74105. Please come and share some memories and laughs, maybe a tear or two.
