Margaret Jane Shoemake's Obituary
Margaret Jane Shoemake, aged 81, died peacefully on the morning of October 25, 2016. Margaret “Jane” was born November 20, 1934, in Stonewall, Oklahoma to Margaret Elizabeth (Gibson) Greenlee and Robert Harlan Greenlee. She was the middle child of three. Jane’s older brother, James Denton Greenlee, and younger brother, Robert Harlan Greenlee.Jane graduated from Stonewall High School in 1952, after which she moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to attend Tulsa Business College.On August 14, 1954, Jane married Phillip Ray Shoemake at the Methodist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. They had three children; Phyllis Kay, Sandra Gail, and Derrick Ray. In addition to raising their three children, she worked as a bookkeeper for many years.Jane was the proud Grandmother of two Granddaughters: Courtney and Audrey, and three Grandsons: Kenny, Brandon, and Brady. In addition, she was the proud Great-Grandmother of six beautiful Great-Grandchildren: Katie, Herbie, Danielle, Serenity, Grayson, and Novah.Jane is survived by her brother, Robert Greenlee and his wife, Lynn Greenlee. She is also survived by her ex-husband, Phillip Shoemake and her three children, Phyllis Moore, Sandy Donahue and husband Brian, and Derrick Shoemake; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives and close friends.Visitation will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, October 28, 2016 between 5:00p.m. and 8:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:00a.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel followed by graveside services.
