Margaret Frances Smith's Obituary
Margaret Frances Smith, 87, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life on September 1, 2024. Born on September 28, 1936, in Marion County, Illinois, she was the cherished daughter of Lewis Arnold Muck and Elizabeth Frances (Fulton) Muck.
Margaret's life was marked by her unwavering faith. A gifted pianist, she was an active member of her church, sharing her musical talents not only within the congregation but also at various community events. Her music brought comfort and joy to many, a reflection of the sweet and kind-hearted person she was.
On October 23, 1955, Margaret married the love of her life, Keith B. Smith. Together, they built a legacy of love, kindness, and family. Margaret dedicated her working years to serving others as a medical receptionist, always offering a warm smile and gentle words to those she encountered.
Above all, Margaret's greatest joy in life was her family. She adored her grandchildren and took immense pride in being a grandmother. Her love and devotion to her family were evident in every moment spent with them.
Margaret is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 69 years, Keith B. Smith; her children Gregory Smith, Julia Wood and her husband Paul, and Sara Gaston and her husband Bryan; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 4PM till 7PM. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 12:30PM with burial to follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
