Margaret "Diane" Villines' Obituary
Margaret “Diane” Villines, the firstborn child of George W. and Barbara J. (Shelton) Hubbs, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 12, 2025, to be with her Lord, her beloved son Matthew Villines, and her stepdaughter Audrey Villines.
Diane was a proud (1960) graduate of Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, OK. Her professional life was as dynamic and creative as she was. Over the years, she worked as a real estate broker, founder and manager of Parkhill’s Party Pantry and later, served as wine manager at Parkhill's Spirits and Wine. She then moved on to sales manager for Reliance Wine and Spirits Company. Later, together with Elton, she purchased and operated Premier Liquors and Wines.
Diane is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 50 years, Elton Villines; her brothers David Hubbs of Bradenton, FL, and Don Hubbs (Sheryl) of Mustang, OK; sister in law Nema Book, and her stepdaughter Renae (Jeff) Ost of Shawnee, KS. She is also lovingly remembered by her granddaughters, Chloe and Katie of Los Angeles, as well as several nieces and nephews, including Holly Hubbs, Brett (Teresa) Book, Philip (Allison) Hubbs, Heather (Mike) Horton, and Hanna (Sean) Vaughan.
Diane built lifelong friendships and embraced life with warmth, wit, and enthusiasm. She will be fondly remembered by her friends and for her active involvement in the vibrant community at Montreau in Tulsa.
Diane was known for her love of reading, writing, and travel—especially her trips to Europe, California visits to see her son, Matt, relaxing stays at the timeshare in Cabo San Lucas, and visits to her brothers’ timeshare in Hilton Head, SC. She was an excellent cook, a gracious hostess, and cherished every opportunity to gather family and friends around her table.
