Margery R. Faux's Obituary
Margery Rosann Faux (Smith) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at her home with family by her side. Born August 31, 1951 to Robert and Erla Mae Smith of Renfrew, PA, Margery grew up on her family’s farm and attended Nyack College before her marriage. She and her husband lived on Air Force bases around the US before settling in Tulsa, OK, where they raised seven of their own children and fostered three others. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and music. She loved the Lord and was always active in her church, where she played the piano and organ during services for many years. Her great joys later in life were her grandchildren, traveling with her husband, and family genealogy.She leaves behind her beloved husband of 44 years, Timothy; her children Phoebe (Eric) Belsley of Boston, MA, Neil (Sarah) Faux of Frisco, TX, Dwight (Regina) Faux of Huntington, AR, Stephanie Faux of Houston, TX, Lana (Binh Nguyen) Faux of Allen, TX, Jonathan Faux of Chicago, IL, and Samuel Faux of Tulsa, OK; and seven adored grandchildren. She will be laid to rest near her infant son, Mark, who predeceased her. She is also survived by her brothers, the Rev. Paul Smith of NY and Mr. Ron Smith of PA, as well as her sister and lifelong best friend, Miss Janet Smith of PA. Visiting hours will be from 1:00 – 8:00 PM on July 26 at Floral Haven. A service to celebrate her life and remember her loving presence will be held July 27 at 10:00 AM at Tulsa Wesleyan Church, with burial to follow at Floral Haven.
