Margery Lee Hutson's Obituary
Margery Hutson passed away peacefully on October 17th, 2017 after a long and very happy life. Margery was born on November 29, 1925 in Wilson, Oklahoma to Burney and Mollie Rose. She grew up in and around Wilson, Oklahoma and graduated from Wilson High School in 1944. Margery married her high school sweetheart Billy Ray Hutson in 1947 and they had a wonderful 55 years together enjoying life, friends and family. She was always a people person and had many long-term friendships until the day she died. Marge always said: I’m not Bossy, I just have better ideas! She supported her husband in starting and in running their construction company, B. R. Hutson, Inc. Marge was a life long Christian and a member at First Christian Church of Tulsa. If she said it once she said it a thousand times…. I could not have had a better life! She was preceded in death by her parents Burney and Mollie Rose, brother Maurice, Husband Bill Hutson and son Bill Hutson Jr. She is survived by her son Dana Hutson and wife Theresa, grandchildren Alaina McGlothlin, Brandon Hutson, Anthony Hutson and great-grandson Mason McGlothlin along with her special cousin Metha Chapman. The family wishes to thank her very special friend and companion Lizzie Patterson for her many years of friendship helping Marge through the last years of her life and also all of the wonderful staff at Saint Simeon’s whom she thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Saint Simeon’s Foundation, 3701 Martin Luther King Blvd., Tulsa, Oklahoma 74106. The family will be receiving visitors at Floral Haven Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM on Sunday, October 22nd. Graveside Service (all are welcome ) will be held at Floral Haven Cemetery at 11:00 AM on October 23rd.
