Marie Hendrix's Obituary
Marie Hendrix, a resident of Tulsa, passed away February 4, 2018 at the age of 89. She was born January 14, 1929 to Hiriam Taylor and Jewel (Hardwick) Taylor in Strickler, Arkansas. She was a Sunday School Teacher and loved doing ceramics at her brothers ceramic shop. She loved selling as an Avon Lady for 15 years and worked at First National Bank in Broken Arrow for 13 years, until her retirement.She was preceded in death by her parents, Hiriam and Jewel Taylor; husband, Garvis Cleo Hendrix; three brothers, Nuel, Carl and Ted Taylor.Survivors include her son, Dennis Lee Hendrix; daughter-in-law, Carol Sharon Hendrix; daughter, Linda Dianne Long; grandchildren, Brett A. Hendrix and wife, Christi Hendrix, Brian Hendrix and Matthew Long and wife, Jeny; great grandchildren, Braden Hendrix, Camden Hendrix and Corbyn Hendrix.Viewing will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Steve Smith officiating.
