Marie B Schiefen's Obituary
Marie Schiefen peacefully went to her heavenly home on Sunday evening December 27,2020. She was 97 years young. Born on September 22, 1923 to M.W. And Eugene Sue Biggers in Piedmont, TX. After graduating from Riverside High School in Fort Worth, she worked at the Eagle Mountain Lake Marine Corps Air Station where she met her husband Robert Louis Schiefen. They married on August 5th, 1944. They had five children, Beverly Diane, Frank Louis, Carolyn Ann, Richard Eric and Janet Eileen. She enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children. She and Bob both enjoyed traveling. He had a passion for fishing and she joined him on several of the fishing trips. She said many times that she had truly lived a full and wonderful life.
Preceded in death by her husband Robert Louis Schiefen, her father M. W. Biggers, her mother Eugene Sue Biggers, all her siblings Francis Dedman, Millegene Davis, M.W.”Bud” Biggers, Jacqueline Smith, and John Biggers. She leaves behind all her children, Diane Jeter of Edmond, OK, Frank Schiefen of Ridgecrest,CA, Carolyn and Rick Geshay of Pearland, TX, Richard and Julie Schiefen of Las Vegas, NV, and Janet Schiefen of Tulsa, OK. Her Grandchildren Jennifer Dodge, Joseph Jeter, Amanda Matamala, Dr. Laura Sundberg, Dr. Melissa Fitzwater, Dr. Danielle Geshay, David Vaughan Jr., Elizabeth Schiefen and Michael Vaughan. She also has twelve Great Grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Floral Haven Cemetery on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 3:00 pm.
