Marilyn Jo Moore's Obituary
Marilyn “Jo” (Prince) Moore was born on August 28, 1926 in Birmingham, Alabama to Josephine Hearn Prince and James Preston Prince. She passed away on August 1, 2017, at Inverness Village in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Jo attended Auburn University and married Steve Moore on Sept 13, 1946. They were happily married for more than 60 years. Both Jo and Steve retired from Amoco Oil in Tulsa.Jo was preceded in death by her loving husband, Steve, and her much-loved son, Steve, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Bettye Prince and Mary Ann Prince Blankenship.Jo is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Moore Livingston, son-in-law, Jamie Livingston, their daughter, Ann Hynecek, and her husband, Bryan Hynecek, and their son, Lee Livingston, and his wife, Annie Livingston. She is survived by her four great-grandchildren, Cooper and Cameron Hynecek and Holt and Luke Livingston. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Lorna Moore, and her children, Preston Moore and Keely Moore Welborn. She was immensely proud of all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.Daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, co-worker, friend—Jo was many things to many people.
