Marine Sgt. James Randolph Graham III, 25, of Coweta died Monday, August 1, 2005 in Hit, Iraq. James was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on April 15, 1980 to Randy and Katrina Graham. He attended Lindbergh Elementary, Whitney Middle School and Hale High School before graduating. James was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed playing Softball, Baseball and was going to school to become a Police Officer. He was a Sergeant with the United States Marine Corp., and had also worked at Quick Trip. James married Melissa (Bratton) Graham on September 27, 1997 in Tulsa, OklahomaA funeral service was held on Saturday, August 13, 2005 at 10:00 A.M., Arrow Heights Baptist Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Interment followed at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.Survived By: his wife: Melissa Graham; children: Thomas Ray Graham and J.R. Graham all of Coweta, Oklahoma; parents: Randy and Katrina Graham; grandparents: Jim and Pat Graham of Collinsville, Wanda and Don Collinsworth of Salina, Oklahoma, Errol and Margie Roberts of Gold Beach, Oregon; aunts and uncles: Janet and Daniel Collins of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Cindy and Chris Maderra of Del City, Oklahoma; niece: Amanda Blake; father and mother in law: Bob and Kathy Bratton; brothers in law: Robert Bratton and Jason Bratton; sisters in law: Amy Timmons and Brandy Bratton; several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Donald Keaton and Kolin Luis Graham.
