Marjorie Hughes, 86, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed from this life on August 9th, 2019. She was born June 25, 1933 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to parents, Myrtle & John Samples. Marjorie married Michael J.“Moose” Hughes on February 1st, 1953. She was an active member on NARFE (National Active and Retired Federal Employees) Association, along with her husband, for decades. Her greatest past-times included painting, socializing, and most importantly, spending time with her family. Marge, as she preferred to be called, was a beautiful lady full of grace who always brought a smile and sense of class everywhere she went and to everything she did.Preceded in death by her parents and husband, she is survived by her children, Michael Rick & Teresa Hughes of Broken Arrow, OK,Pamela Moore of Pflugerville TX , Grandchildren Lauren & Kevin Curtis of Pflugerville, TX, Kevin Moore of Liberty Hill, TX, Anna & David Livingston of Broken Arrow, OK,Emily & Matt Vasquez of Broken Arrow, OK, Great-Grandchildren Jaxson Vasquez of Broken Arrow, OK, and Penny Curtis of Pflugerville, Tx.Visitation will be held on Monday, August 12 from 5 pm – 8 pm.Services will be at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, August 13 at the Floral Haven Chapel.
