Marjorie Lee Hulvey's Obituary
Margie Hulvey was born in Doniphan, MO on October 24, 1937. She gave her life to Jesus Christ at the age of 8 years old. Every aspect of her life was centered around sharing the love of her Savior. Whether as a mother, in music, a volunteer, an employee, or an employer her dedication shined though. She graduated high school a year early and moved to St Louis, MO to work. She married Shelby Hulvey in 1964.They shared four children together. She traveled all over the world with her husband enjoying the beauties God had to share.
Margie worked in every area of any church she attended. She also played lead piano for many years in most of her home churches. She worked the last 15 years of her employment life at Wal-mart. She loved every aspect of the job as a greeter and always wanted to get well to return. Her love and kindness to everyone was felt throughout the community.
Margie was the most sincere loving person anyone would have wanted to meet. She truly had a heart for the saved as well as the lost. She never passed judgement on anyone. The tragedies she endured in her own life only brought her closer to her Heavenly Father. This enabled her to show love in ways never thought possible. The one thing she would have wanted to leave behind as her testimony is this:
God loved us so dearly that He gave us His beloved Son, crucified and wounded for our sins, resurrected for our salvation, allowing us to be forever with Him in glory.
Mom will be greatly missed by her daughter, sister, nephews, niece, four grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
May you enjoy Heaven until we all meet again someday.
