Mark Conway's Obituary
Mark William Conway, 63, passed away peacefully in his home in Collinsville, Oklahoma in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Oct. 2 with loved ones by his side.Mark was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 19, 1955. He graduated from Edison High School in 1973. Mark enjoyed baseball, tennis and bowling in his early years, and was great at all three, often scoring a perfect 300 in his bowling league, which he was featured for in the local paper.Mark also enjoyed his Arkansas Razorbacks, and often attended many of the home games with his brother Wayne. Goooo Hogs! He also enjoyed heading to Kansas City with his wife to watch the Chiefs play. Fishing and kayaking were also two of the activities he enjoyed away from home with his close buddies Wayne Patterson, Dick Mulford and Bill McCreary.He is survived by his wife, Ardith Ann Conway (Armstrong); his two daughters, Amanda Shaw and her husband Darin of Owasso, Kristen Williams and her husband Jake of Tulsa; his stepsons, Ryan Wise and his wife Kim of Owasso, and Jarrod Wise of Austin, Texas; his brother, Wayne Conway and wife Jan and nephew Christopher of Tulsa; and Missy Massey and her husband Bob, nephew Timothy and niece Anna of Tulsa. Mark is also survived by his grandchildren whom he adored; Jarett Shaw and Joely, Kale and Nolan Wise. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, William Conway and Joanne McCarty Conway.Family and friends are invited to attend services scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, 2018 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A gathering will be held immediately following. Razorback fan gear is encouraged to celebrate his life and favorite team. Flowers and condolences may be offered at 6500 S. 129th E. Ave., Broken Arrow, OK 74012. In lieu of flowers, donations may also be offered in Mark’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
