Mark Elmer Labadie's Obituary
Mark Elmer Labadie was born in Pawhuska, Oklahoma on October 18, 1937, and he left this world way to early on December 1, 2022, at the age of 85 to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ: He was the son of Earle and Lucille Labadie. Mark was preceded in death by his Father Earnie Labadie, Mother Lucille Standridge and Stepfather JD Standridge as well as his wife Alice J. Labadie and daughter Candice Lutile Labadie. Mark graduated from Pawhuska High School in 1956 where he lettered in football and Baseball, He was the captain of his football team. He went onto attend and graduate from The University of Tulsa where he earned his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, After graduating from The University of Tulsa Mark enlisted in the United States Navy and was accepted to Officer Candidate School where he became an Officer and served four years with tours in the South Pacific.
After the Navy he worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Rem co, American Airlines, TD Williamson, Mathey Manufacturing before starting his own Engineering and Manufacturing Company Melco Engineering and Equipment, Inc.
Mark loved his family more than anything else in the Entire world. He would do whatever he could to make a difference all their lives. He was extremely active in his children's lives. He coached his son Jay in Ten baseball, basketball, and football from youth until school ball. He loved fishing, golf as well as building .and flying remote control airplanes. Mark was a strong man with a gentile heart. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family that loved him so much.
He is survived by his son Jay D. Labadie of Tulsa, daughter in law Bridget Labadie, 7 grandchildren, Lindsey Kuhl, Haley Hutcheson, Zachary Labadie, Chloe' Labadie, Heather Wilson, Heath Wilson, and Amber Wilson. He also had 7 great-grandchildren, Kaleb Jay Labadie, Layla Rose Labadie, Posey Thomas Haven Hutcheson, Boston Hutcheson, Liewyn Kuhl and Noah Kuhl.
