Mark Neal Left Hand's Obituary
Mark Neal Left Hand, was born April 5, 1962 in Denver, Colorado. His parents were Samuel Phillip Lefthand and Clara Effie (Hardin) Lefthand. He spent his early childhood in California and Texas while his father was serving in the Air Force. The family returned to their hometown of Morrison, Oklahoma. He passed from this life August 28, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma having reached the age of 58 years, 4 months, and 23 days. He had been residing in Perry, Oklahoma for several years. During his childhood he played football and baseball, his father was his coach often. He passed that natural athleticism to his children. In 1988 he married Cindy and became stepfather to James and Rachael. Of this union two children were born; Micheal Phillip Lefthand and Gabrielle Marie Lefthand. He married Paula in 1994 and of this union two daughters were born; Lexy Elise (Lefthand) Parker and Wisper Rae Lefthand. He developed quite an artistic talent throughout the years, selling many of his drawings as well as giving away many to special people who crossed his path. He drew special pictures for birthday and Christmas gifts to his children, which they cherish to this day. He enjoyed making people laugh and hearing stories about his family. He is survived by his sister, Phyllis Lefthand, Ponca City; his son Micheal, and daughters Gabby of Ponca City, Lexy and Wisper of Stillwater. Grandchildren from Micheal; Hannah Marie Ward and Laney Rain Lefthand. From Gabby: Brekkon Micheal Lefthand-Hutson, Memphis Samuel Lefthand, and Reign Onelia Lefthand-Hutson. His caseworker, Courtney, became a special support to Mark this past year, he called her his niece. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents; Samuel and Emma Skye (Younge) Lefthand, brothers Samuel and Timothy Lefthand.
Graveside service will be held 10am, Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the Chaui cemetery, Pawnee, Oklahoma. A mourning feast will follow at the Roam Chief center Pawnee, Oklahoma.
