Mark A. Steele's Obituary
Mark Anthony Steele, 59, of Broken Arrow, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM, on Monday, November 7, 2016, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Mark was born on January 10, 1957, in Independence, Missouri, the son of Charles E. and Shirley (Lyles) Steele. On May 14, 1985, he married the love of his life, Leslie Campbell, in Tucson, Arizona. Mark proudly served our country in the United States Air Force, and was on the Honor Guard (funeral detail) for the state of Washington. He had worked as a cable repair technician for Southwestern Bell, and was a member of the Communications Workers of America Union, having served as Steward, and Vice President in the West Texas Division. He is survived by his wife, Leslie, mother, Shirley Lyles, of Independence, Missouri, daughter, Kaycee Ann Coleman, and her husband, Chris, of Porum, Oklahoma, nephew that he loved like a son, C.J. Steele, and his fiancé, Ashley Dighero, of Nevada, Missouri, six grandchildren, Logan Anthony Coleman, Sophia Elise Coleman, Noelle Blair Coleman, Ethan Dighero, Chance Dighero, and Mallory Dighero, brothers, Rick Steele, and his wife, Terry, of Lee Summitt, Missouri, Kem Murphy, and his wife, Camille, of Blue Springs, Missouri, John McCollum, of Independence, Missouri, Steven Edwards, of Milo, Missouri, and Ron Edwards, of Lee Summitt, Missouri, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Steele, brothers, Marty Edwards, Charles D. Steele, Billy Edwards, and sister, Kathy Coffman.
