Mark B. Steele's Obituary
Mark B. Steele passed away on December 9, 2017, while trying to save a litter of puppies from a house fire. He was born sometime in the swinging 60s in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his father because he didn’t want to partake in voting for anymore presidential elections. He was the last child of six and was probably the favorite (he was constantly told so). He graduated from Nathan Hale High School and eventually received his B.S. in Computer Information Systems. However, his talent was his long-time career as an optician, but his secret identity was as a P.I. living in Hawaii in a millionaire’s guesthouse. Additionally, Mark was a super trivia genius becoming the undisputed champion of Trivia Pursuit and movie quotes. His greatest love was his family, especially his wife and his children, but second place would probably be his cat (ten years of kitty head-butts) and then watching OU football. His family loved his humor, kindness, and love for others and they will never forget him. One last time: “That’s a big Twinkie!” Visitation will be at Floral Haven Funeral Home on Monday December 11, 2017, from 4:00-8:00 pm. The family will gather at 5:00 pm for the viewing. Donations: please send to American Cancer Society.
