Mark Allen Winkelman's Obituary
Mark Allen Winkelman, 64, of Jenks, Oklahoma, passed away on September 4, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on June 29, 1961, in Fremont, Nebraska.
Mark is survived by his wife, Cindy; daughters, Sarah (Chris) and Kristi; grandchildren, Caroline and Harrison; parents, Bill and Sue; siblings, Todd and Cindy; niece, Libbie; and nephew, Noah.
Mark dedicated much of his career to FedEx, where his hard work, integrity, and excellence left a lasting impact. His contributions were so exceptional that the company created a special award in his honor—because no existing recognition was quite worthy enough.
Beyond his career, Mark lived life with a spirit of adventure and kindness. He was an avid fisherman and skilled fly-tyer who shared his passion with others. He was also a gifted storyteller, known for his humor, optimism, and ability to make everyone around him feel valued.
Mark loved his family deeply and considered being a husband, father, and grandfather his greatest achievement. His positivity, generosity, and laughter will be remembered always by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home in Broken Arrow on Friday, September 12 at 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the ALS Association of Oklahoma.
