Marty was one of my best friends for over 33 years and he will be missed a lot. We would go to the movies and lunch together most every week. Marty enjoyed saying a phrase that would have a double meaning and watch you as you tried to figure out what he was getting at. When I would try saying a phrase like that at home, my wife Verlia would call it a “Martyism”. Marty gave Verlia her own movie rating, V movies (movies she would watch, romances or true stories) or NV movies (movies she would not watch ,sci-fi, horror, or any movie with a mouse in it). He had a lot of friends which just shows how well liked he was. We got along so well because our sense of humor was so similar. He loved his family and always wanted the best for them. I was privileged having known him and shared time with him.
