Marvin Leroy Deeter's Obituary
Marvin Leroy Deeter, age 71, passed from this life on August 3, 2010 in Wichita, Kansas after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. He was born on June 21, 1939 to John William and Rosa Alvaretta (Vangampolard) Deeter. Marvin served in the United States Air Force for 22 years, retiring as Senior Master Sergeant. He married Susan (Green) Deeter on March 30, 1994 in Wichita, Kansas. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents: John and Rosa Deeter; sisters: Deloris Mae, Betty Lou, Wilma Arlene; brothers: Kenneth DeWayne and Donald William. He is survived by his wife: Susan Deeter of the home; son: Fred and his wife Bobbie; daughters: DaVonna Brown and husband Henry, Melody Schafer and husband Jeff, Susan Elder and husband Dennis, Norman Ross Moore, Katharine Thomas and husband Patrick; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and one great great grandbaby due in September; loyal friend and companion: Sebastian. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 3:00 pm in the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
