Marvin Dean Williams Sr., 75, of Owasso, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 21, 2026.
Marvin was born on December 8, 1950, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Joe Albert and Opal Mae (Kleiss) Williams Sr. He was raised in the Tulsa area and built a life centered on family, hard work, and friendship.
For more than 30 years, Marvin worked as a route driver for Lakeshore, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work, he embraced life with enthusiasm and enjoyed spending time doing the things he loved. An avid bowler, Marvin participated in bowling league play and could often be found at the bowling alley up to three nights a week. He loved telling jokes and bringing smiles to those around him. Marvin was an animal lover, especially devoted to his beloved dog, Pete.
Marvin also enjoyed playing Bunco, coaching Little League baseball, repainting garden figurines, and sharing the latest improvements and projects in his backyard with family and friends. He found joy in simple pleasures and took pride in creating a welcoming home. His warm personality, sense of humor, and love for others will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Beverly A. Williams; his son, Marvin D. Williams Jr. and wife Erin; his daughter, Angela M. Williams; his cherished grandchildren, Reagann E. Williams and Deacon M. Williams; his brother, Joe A. Williams Jr. and wife Linda; and his brother, Ron L. Williams Sr. and his fiancé Pam; nephews, Ron L. Williams, Jr; and cousins Diane Tanner and Jay Rather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Albert Williams and Opal Mae Mossmeier.
Marvin's family will cherish the many memories they shared with him and the laughter he brought into their lives. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
