Marvina Diane Cole's Obituary
Marvina Diane Swanson Cole, passed away on March 18, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 78. She was born on October 31, 1946, in Tulsa to Marvin and Elbertine Swanson.
Marvina was united in marriage to Gordon Cole on September 9, 1966, in Drumright, Oklahoma, and together they shared a life filled with love and happiness. As a devoted wife and mother, Marvina's family was always her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in watching her children and grandchildren thrive.
A passionate traveler and avid reader, Marvina loved diving into romance fiction and exploring new places. Her outgoing nature and caring personality left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Marvina was a true people person, always making others feel welcomed and valued. Her grandson, Dylan, fondly remembers her calling him her “IT specialist,” a testament to her loving support and interest in his life. She was also her grandson Dalton’s biggest fan, she loved watching him play baseball .
Marvina’s devotion extended beyond her family to her cherished pet, Charlie, the Chihuahua, who was always by her side. She loved her furry companion and found comfort in his companionship.
She will be remembered for her infectious warmth, her love for life, and the kindness she showed to others.
Marvina’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, especially her husband, children, grandchildren, and extended family.

Marvina is survived by her husband Gordon Cole, daughter Cheryl Holbrook and husband Don, sister Melinda Shore and husband Richard, sister Gwen Johnson and husband Eric, sister Jana Swanson, sister Sandy Swanson, grandchildren Dylan and Dalton Holbrook, 4 nieces and nephews, along with cousins, friends and loved ones.
