I was so sadden to hear of Mary receiving her wings. We went to school together, and I always thought so much of her.. The family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
We met at Oral Roberts Evangelistic Assoc. 1962-63. We have had a lifetime of memories. Mary and I took a group of 15 year old girls to Jamaica on a spring break mission trip. A trip I will forever remember. Mary was fun to work with, attend church with, pray with — she lit up the room with her presence. Gilbert, our prayers are with you and family. We love you. What a girl! Mary always had a smile and laughed at anything close to funny. She made you feel good about yourself and life in general. Even through the chemo, her loss of her beautiful hair and her weakened state she still wanted to lift you up and encourage you. Our prayers go out to Gilbert and family during this time as heaven rejoices over this wonderful saint come home.
