Mary Lou Arthur was a long time resident of Broken Arrow, OK where she was born. Mary Lou was a wonderful Mother, Nana, Sister, and Aunt. Mary Lou was immensely proud of her family. Mary Lou was very family oriented and took pleasure in loving and assisting her family. During her last years of employment, she worked as Activity Director at Village Health Care Center where she took pleasure in helping the resident’s even if it meant just listening.Mary Lou passed away after a long illness and is survived by daughter Norma Jean Arthur, son Martin Lee Arthur, grandchildren Lisa Fourshey, Carmen Guthrie, and James Aaron Guthrie; great-grand children Zachary Anderson, Kyra Thigpen, Donavon Fourshey, Tyree and Tiana Guthrie, Jovawn Guthrie, James Aiden and Montana Guthrie and great great grandkids Ry’Lyn Anderson and Jarred Solis.Mary Lou is Preceded by parents William H. and Mary Esther Fletcher, siblings: Floyd, Lloyd, Inez, Maurice, Annabelle, Mozelle, Willie Sue, and Vaughn.Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 16 from 5 pm – 7 pm.A graveside service will take place on Friday, May 17 at 2 pm at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
