There are so very many memories but one that sticks out the most is every summer my sister, brother and my self would go to stay with our grandparents for a little while during the summer. One summer she was teaching my sister and I how to quilt. We got to making our own quilts and to this day I still have mine after many of years, It is a little ragged but I still have it just the same. To me it is such a precious item that I will treasure, not because I still have it or made it but because my wonderful, tender, loving grandmother helped me and taught me something that to me was special and to this day I still treasure the memory of us working together on that quiltAnother memory I have is when ever we stayed the summers with our grandparents, we always went to church on Sundays. Every time my grandmother would do a special song, it always brought tears to my eyes, not because of the song itself, but mostly because of the of the amazing woman who was singing it. Her powerful and beautiful voice reached so deep inside me that to this day when I her certain songs I still tear up because I can hear her singing it all over again.May she finally rest in peace and enjoy her new life in heaven with the rest of her family.
