I met Ms. Bundy when I was invited to be part of a Women's Retreat in 2003. Because of her, I also had the privilege of writing a Poem named In the Arms of an Angel which is copyrighted in Poetry.com. Thank you for who you were. A great advocate, friend n Forever my SISTAH. Mary and Kay came to my mother's bedside at the time of her transition in the hospital and sang for her. It was like the room was filled with angelic voices. They inspired us all to sing. A sad moment became magical, and perfect. I know that she is part of a beautiful angelic choir now and her kindness will go on eternally.
Mary Bundy welcomed me warmly and supported me throughut my years with Sisters in Song. For awhile, we were the entire alto section. I appreciated her wisdom of experience, her candor in truth-telling, and her obvious compassion for the community. Sadly, I'm out of state this weekend and cannot attend her service. Please know that she and all of you who gather are being held in my heart today.
