Mary Kay Carlson's Obituary
The world lost a sparkling personality with the passing of Mary Kay Carlson, 57, on July 31, 2014. This beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister was born to Sam and Berta Goodman raised in Tulsa, OK, and graduated from Nathan Hale High School. She married her husband of 34 years, Brad Carlson, on Valentine’s Day 1980 and served her country proudly as a nurse in the U.S. Navy for 17 years. Her greatest sources of pride, however, were her four children, Allan “Billy” (38), Amanda (33), Matthew (31) and Andrew (22); three grandchildren Will (11), Alex (10), Sam (7) and a fourth on the way. She is preceded in death by her father, Sam and is survived by her husband; mother; sister, Jayme, children; grandchildren; nephews Josh and Ben, and innumerable loving family and friends who were touched by this remarkable angel over the years. Visitation will be Sunday, August 3, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 PM and prayer service 7:00-8:00 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 4, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tulsa.
