My dearest Friend and Colleague,
I miss you already Midge. You welcomed, trusted, empowered, and respected me and my professional acumen from the beginning at TCC. I will miss or lunch time discussions. You were a wonderful leader and administrator, your focus was on the people whether that was students, faculty, or staff. You expected excellence, and you role modeled consistency and strength focusing on "we will do the right thing" while we protect and respect the rights of the students, faculty, and staff. Peace be with you and your family.
Eternal rest grant unto Mary Margaret "Midge" Elliott, Oh Lord,
And may the perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

My sincerest condolences to the family. You were an amazing woman whose memories I will cherish forever! <3 <3 <3
To the family of my dearest and best friend of 42 years. I will miss our dinners and long and spirited talks about nearly everything! Midge was a wonderful and kind person. A cut above most everyone I know. She was incredibly accomplished with an intellect that was uncomparable. Not everyone would know that because she was quite humble and selfless. Sarah and Nick - please know that your mom is with all that have gone before her and I suspect having quite the celebration!! Midge will be forever in our hearts.
With love and respect, Susie Detwiler
