Mary Evelyn Munn's Obituary
MUNN, Mary E., was born to Forrest and Ida (Casey) Turner on August 21, 1931, in Tulsa, Ok and passed from this life on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Mary graduated in 1950 from Will Rogers High School. She married Lloyd J. Munn on August 30, 1949. Mary and Lloyd celebrated 60 years of marriage prior to his death in 2009. Mary retired after working many years as a key punch operator followed by a second career as an administrative assistant in the nursing home industry. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Lois A. Fink and brother, Wm. Leroy Turner. Survived by beloved son, John Lloyd Munn; brothers, Bob Turner, Tom (Sue) Turner and Glynn (Elaine) Turner; sisters, Grace (Charles) Beach, Ruth (N. D.) Graham, Veta Henry and Beverly (Ernest) Evans; and many beloved extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 10th at 11:00 a.m., John Knox Presbyterian Church, 2929 E. 31st St. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the church in Mary’s memory or to the givers charity of choice.
