Mary Frances Funk's Obituary
Mary Frances Funk, 70, wife of Thomas E. Funk went to be with her Maker Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Gracewood Nursing Home, Tulsa, Oklahoma after battling alzheimers for almost four years.Frances was born on February 15, 1946 to Amos and Mavis (Clayborn) Griffin Oklahoma. She married Tom on July 1, 1977 in Tulsa. Frances worked at Tulsair Beechcraft for over 25 years. She enjoyed her grandkids, cooking, music and flower arrangements.Frances is survived by her husband of 38 years, Thomas E. Funk,sisters Barbara and Bonnie and brother Harry Griffin, daughters Ann Marie Rabbitt and Kristy Frost, granddaughters Jessica Wright, Emily Frost and Shelby Frost, also grandsons Christopher Patty and Alex Rabbitt, great grandchildren Addy Wright, Riley Potter, Gaige Kupfer and Ryder Starr, and sister-in-law Mary Kaye Funk of Louisville Kentucky.She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Elizabeth Burks and brother Pat Griffin and grandson Brandon Wright.Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the Floral Haven Funeral Visitation Suites, Floral Haven Funeral Home, 6500 S 129th E Avenue, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.A chapel service will be held 12:30 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2016, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Frances honor and name, to the Alzhmeirers Association and/or to Good Shepherd Hospice.
