Hammell – Mary Elizabeth, 80, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2007 in Tulsa, OK. Born May 24th, 1927 in Manhattan, NY to Maurice L. & Mary E. Johnson. Mary graduated from Mineola High School (NY) class of 1944. She married her beloved husband Harold E. Hammell Jr. on November 15, 1952. A wonderful lifelong musician, Mary loved playing the violin, from being a young Concert Master to performing for family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Harold and her brother Maurice. She was a joy and a blessing and we will hold her in our hearts always. Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Floral Haven Chapel.Survived By: Survived by her 4 children, Nancy Smith of Stillwater, Harold Hammell of Tulsa, Lorraine Kaefer of Broken Arrow, Douglas Hammell of Boulder, CO; 10 grandchildren, Brendan, Christopher, Jennifer, Jessica, Bonnie, Christen, Hayley, Joshua, Seth, Tegan; and sister Marjorie.
